I could work 100+ hours a week - but it is nothing compared to the most important part - building a team of creative and intelligent A players.
My MBA and sales & management experience gave me a foundation - but the key to my success was attracting A players and motivating them to reach beyond what they believed was their potential. I did this by using my optimism, confidence and communication skills to get them excited be a part of what we were building.
Another part was my strategic management skills. I understood the competitive, financial and marketing issues in the industry - and how technology was going to upend old strategies in the market.
